What do you love about the town your home is in? Manchester has been the perfect location for us, it is centrally located with convenient access to I-84 as well as a wide array of shopping, restaurants and other attractions. Through job transfers and marriage, Manchester has always been a great place to call home. It's also great to have larger cities and destinations such as Hartford, Boston, NYC and Cape Cod within driving distance.
If you are in a neighborhood, what great things do you do there? In our neighborhood, we are within walking distance to parks and trails as well as streets that make it easy to walk or run on so exercising outdoors when the weather allows. There is also a huge movie theater within walking distance. We happen to have friends that live in some of the nearby apartments and condos so we definitely feel a sense of community in our neighborhood.
My favorite restaurants around this home are? Burton's Grill at Evergreen Walk and Bonefish Grill at Evergreen Walk for dinner or drinks, Buffalo Wild Wings to watch a game with friends, Frank Pepe's Pizza and Randy's Wooster St Pizza are our favorites for takeout or delivery
Grocery stores d0 I love to shop at? Big Y is right around the corner and Stop & Shop, Price Chopper, Aldi and more are all within a few miles. We also like to shop at Whole Foods, although it is not located in Manchester, we can be in Glastonbury or West Hartford within 20 minutes.
